Kütahya Tiles Strengthened by the Launch of KIDH Inc.

A landmark achievement for the internationalization and sustainable growth of Kütahya’s ceramic legacy.

Within the scope of the “Improving Digitalization and Creativity Ecosystem in Kütahya” project, the founding of KIDH – Kütahya Innovation and Design Hub Inc. marks a strategic step to expand Kütahya Tiles globally and safeguard the city’s role as a hub of Anatolian tile craftsmanship.

Led by Kütahya Municipality, KIDH Inc. will operate in three key domains: research and production, design and communication, and business development — positioning itself as a vital mechanism for sustaining the tile industry.

Beyond preserving artistic heritage, this initiative highlights the contribution of creative economies to broader socio-economic growth. Kütahya’s membership in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network further strengthens this vision and supports the hub’s global ambitions.

KIDH Inc. is expected to play a central role in the evolution of Kütahya’s tile and ceramic industry, acting as a vibrant hub for cultural entrepreneurship and creative innovation.
