Kütahya Tiles in Italy!

First international steps taken to open Kütahya Tiles to global markets.

As part of efforts to strengthen international visibility and the institutional capacity of the Kütahya Innovation and Design Hub (KIDH), a delegation of representatives from key local organizations visited Faenza, Florence, and Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy. The delegation was accompanied by the project team and Project Team Leader Mirko Tattarini.

Discussions focused on learning from successful international practices, expanding capacities for developing new designs, seeking partnerships for EU programs like HORIZON and INTERREG, and exploring funding opportunities. Participants agreed to collaborate on joint projects soon.

The program included B2B meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and networking, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and the planning of an additional MoU for more targeted cooperation.
